Counterpoint Pilates Studio, owner/ instructor Elizabeth Schmidt teaches group fitness classes and Personal Training sessions.
Her inspiration to start this business was discovering how Pilates helped her recover from Back surgery. After her back surgery she knew she needed to get stronger, so she worked out and became certified as a group fitness instructor trainer. Elizabeth worked full time for 10 years as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. Elizabeth says It was the Pilates training that got her back to 95% recovered. With a stronger musculoskeletal system, she was able to train longer and harder without the usual overuse injuries. In 2006 Elizabeth decided to turn her Pilates passion into a full-time career, successfully completing the Stott Pilates Full Certification program.
